General description
This workshop proposes a deep aesthetic and sensory experience from the Colombian jungles as a living symbol of what is still possible to protect. Through the encounter with the work of the artist Duván López, inspired directly by the jungle, we will ask ourselves:
Can a work of art awaken awareness and commitment to life?
In a context of climate crisis and loss of biodiversity, this workshop is offered as a space to feel, think and act from the symbolic, a bridge between contemplating and caring, between seeing and protecting.
See with ecological awareness
From the perspective of deep ecology (Arne Næss, Joanna Macy), every gaze that rests on nature carries a responsibility. Art not only represents the jungle: it invokes it, preserves it, reinterprets it. In this workshop, we will explore how the strokes, shapes and colors of Duván López’s work can act as detonators of reflection, memory and action.
